Still on Here
Hey all still on here, just haven’t been reading. My hands are both hurting (cold weather) though whatever was going on with my left hand has resolved. My current issue is migraines. I have them chronically. I go in for an MRI on Monday (because like all Zebras (I have Ehlers-Danlos) my previous doctors all ignored my telling them I had 6-week long headaches…because…why listen to the patient?). I have a headache right now…it’s at about a level 5…it’s beyond the point where I don’t notice it with everything I’m doing (I think about it pretty much consistently…below a 5 and I often forget to think about it). And…I’m supposed to go to a Bush concert tonight. So I’m going to medicate and wear earbuds to dampen the sound. While I’m there (this is at a casino) I’ll be getting in more reading for sure, and I’ve decided to bring my laptop so I can jot down reading notes…but I won’t likely post anything until at some point after the MRI. (I’ve no idea what the contrast will do to me…if I’ll have a reaction, if I’ll get sick, if I’ll just feel warm and like I’m wetting myself…I’ve heard a lot of stories). Fun stuff. Keep on keeping on.
